Commis Chef – Man O War Bar/Restaurant

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef in a stunning location!

The Lulworth Estate is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience, attracting both locals and visitors.

We are looking for a Commis Chef to become an integral part of our kitchen team at the Man O’ War Bar and Restaurant at our beautiful holiday park, overlooking Durdle Door.

Applicants must have relevant experience, a strong work ethic and the talent to work effectively with others in order to provide excellent food with great presentation.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like to develop their skills within a fun and dynamic team.

This is a full time, seasonal position until October 2024 with the possibility of being made permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the senior chefs with preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes including meat, fish and vegetables
• Assisting the senior chefs and wider kitchen team throughout service
• Observing good food safety/hygiene standards and adhering to the Estate’s Health and Safety Policy
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Carrying out stock control and replenishment using a computerised system
• Assisting with purchasing and ordering of goods and accepting orders
