Front of House Assistant – The Weld Arms

The Weld Arms is a 17th century coaching inn, championing high-quality, seasonal produce, nestled in the picturesque village of East Lulworth, just a short stroll from Lulworth Castle.
Joining us as a Front of House team member, we are looking for staff with great personalities and a flair for hospitality. Previous experience within a fast paced, high end food offering is desirable.
This is a seasonal position until September 2024 with a competitive salary based on skills, knowledge and experience.
Initial shifts will be 3 days per week including one weekday, every Sunday and then alternative Fridays or Saturdays with hours between 10:00am and 11:30pm. Additional hours may be required during busy periods to include Bank/Public Holidays.
The role involves the serving of alcohol, therefore all applicants must be aged 18 or over.
Due to our location in East Lulworth, applicants must have a full UK driving licence and their own transport, or be able to reliably commute.

Under the guidance of our Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is prepared for service and then lead a section during service. All applicants must have a passion for serving excellent food.
This is a well paid role, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis with a total of 40 hours per week. The position is seasonal, until October 2024 with the possibility of being made permanent.

This is a temporary, seasonal position (end date 1st January 2025) with an immediate start and offers a fantastic opportunity to work within our hospitality team at this stunning World Heritage Site.
You will be required to work lunch and/or evening shifts, the hours will be on a rota basis and will include evenings, weekends and Bank/Public Holidays. Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is desirable but not required.
