The family-owned Lulworth Estate extends over 20 square miles of the south Dorset countryside, including 5 miles of the Jurassic Coast and the internationally renowned landmarks such as Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Lulworth Castle.

Estate Management

The Estate is responsible for the management and upkeep of an area of more than 20 square miles, as well as looking after the 750,000 visitors who enjoy this beautiful part of the world every year. It provides many footpaths, signposts, facilities and even countryside rangers, funded by the car parking charges paid by visitors.

History & Heritage

Lulworth’s estate pedigree can go back as far as Doomsday times in the 11th century and beyond, and, since 1641, it has been owned and managed by the Weld family.
