The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and energetic Tearoom & Visitor Experience Assistant to become part of our lovely team at Lulworth Castle.
You will be a key member of the team, supporting the delivery of excellent visitor and event experiences across the castle site, welcoming and engaging with our visitors to ensure they enjoy every aspect of their visit.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same and is perfectly suited to those who thrive in public-facing settings and are passionate about helping visitors get the most out of their time here, whilst contributing to the stewardship of our outstanding castle and park.
Your key responsibility will be the serving customers in our on site Tearoom but you will also support the team with ticketing and visitor welcome, care and presentation of the site and special events. Applicants must be reliable and able to work varied hours including weekends and evenings, must have strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure and have good physical strength and stamina.

This is a seasonal role until the end of October 2026. Working hours are between 21 and 40 hours per week on a rota basis.
Desirable skills/qualifications: First Aid, Barista experience, events experience, knowledge of history and/or local history.

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Event Support Assistant to become part of our lovely team at Lulworth Castle for an exciting and busy season of weddings, Autumn events and Christmas experiences.
From setting up beautiful wedding spaces and festive displays, to helping run events, welcoming visitors and supporting our wider operations, this is a truly hands-on role where you will gain experience across every aspect of event delivery within a heritage setting.
This is a seasonal role until December 2026, offering 40 hours per week on a shift basis. We’re looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, hardworking and happy to roll up their sleeves. You will work across weekdays, weekends and evenings as part of our friendly and supportive team.

The Lulworth Estate requires seasonal Housekeepers to work at our beautiful holiday park at Durdle Door as well as our unique holiday cottages situated throughout the estate
Our sites are popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.
Housekeeping is dynamic, hands-on work where no two days are ever the same. We’re looking for motivated, adaptable team members who take pride in delivering exceptional results and find real satisfaction in a job well done — especially during the fast-paced, high-energy changeover days of peak season.
Some previous experience of housekeeping to include cleaning and laundry is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants will need excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn, total reliability and a hard-working attitude.
These are seasonal contracts, running until the end of December. Both full and part time hours are available and working hours will be on a rota basis and will include at least one weekend day. The occasional early or late shift will be required and there will be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts during our busy periods.
Due to the location of our business, applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and their own transport, or the ability to reliably commute.
