Off-Road Riders Celebrate Completing 2017 Ride5 Oct 2017
Nearly 200 intrepid bikers braved the inclement October weather at the weekend to take part in the 2017 Lulworth Off-Road Ride.
This year, bikers could choose from three routes of varying lengths – 24km, 37km or 59km – which winded, climbed and meandered across the Estate. From wooded trackways to challenging hills and fast descents, the routes explored hidden and special parts of the area stretching from East Lulworth to Chaldon and to the edges of the Estate on the Corfe side.
The sunshine made a brief appearance for the start, at the front of the Castle, before the drizzle and rain set in. A little bit of rain did not affect riders. Everyone did a superb job and most displayed beaming smiles as they collected their medals and times from the finish line at the Castle. The skill, sportsmanship and camaraderie were most impressive – with some riders celebrating personal best times.

Well done to all who took part. We hope that you will join us again next year on 30th September 2018!
