FREE August Bank Holiday Shuttle Bus
24 Aug 2017This Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday the Lulworth Estate is offering a free shuttle service between Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door to all visitors.
The introduction of this service aims to reduce the environmental impact and road congestion in this area on what is going to be a beautiful weekend. It will also offer a welcome rest for those with tired legs who have walked between these two iconic landmarks, but don’t fancy a return journey!
To use the service, you simply need to park-up, pay and display and head for the pick-up point which will be clearly marked. Buses will depart every 15 minutes through the day. The first bus to Durdle Door leaves Lulworth Cove at 10.15am. The last bus will leave Durdle Door coach drop-off point at 7.15pm.
On arrival at the Durdle Door drop-off, both adults and children alike will enjoy the short stroll (500m) at the recently launched ‘Woodland Walk’. Spot the hidden fairy doors, check-out the bug hotels which line this woodland walk or stop at a picnic table for a rest under the dappled sunshine.
