Graduate Surveyor – The Lulworth Estate

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Surveyor has arisen to work within the busy property department of the Lulworth Estate. The successful candidate will be a recent graduate of Real Estate, Rural Land Management or a similar RICS approved degree.

The Lulworth Estate extends over 12,000 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside and includes five miles of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. It is visited by hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

The Property Department deals with all areas of the estate’s diverse business interests including, commercial property, farming, forestry, planning & development, property maintenance, festivals and filming. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to learn about and take responsibility for a wide range of tasks. The successful candidate will be personable, work well both independently and in a team and be a self-starter. They will have excellent IT and mapping skills combined with meticulous attention to detail.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Rural Land Management or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated with an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude, and a good willingness to learn
  • Keen eye for detail
  • A team player, reliable and friendly with strong communication skills and professional integrity, able to build strong relationships
  • Proficient software skills to include MS Word, Excel, GIS Mapping and Terrier/Property Management systems
  • Exceptional organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Full clean UK driving licence
