The Role:

The Lulworth Estate is a beautiful, privately owned country estate, home to the World Heritage site of Durdle Door, Lulworth Castle and Park and Lulworth Cove. We are committed to providing an exceptional customer experience, attracting both locals and visitors.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our hospitality team as Food and Beverage Assistants, helping to run our busy and popular mobile Food Wagon overlooking the world famous Durdle Door.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and would suit someone with a passion for hospitality, ideally with experience in a restaurant or catering or food preparation.

Working hours will be between 20 and 40 hours per week over 5 days between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Applicants must be able to work weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be 18 or older.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with food and beverage preparation and service.
  • Keeping the Food Wagon and outside areas clean, tidy and organised at all times.
  • Cash handling and operating an EPOS system till.
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies.
  • Following food safety guidelines and maintaining proper hygiene practices.
  • Working closely with the Food Wagon Supervisor to ensure smooth running of the day to day operations.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in catering, restaurant or food preparation.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to use own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
