Seasonal Retail Assistants

Do you have a passion for retail? Would you like a great seasonal position at a stunning World Heritage site? Join our hardworking, friendly and enthusiastic retail team for our upcoming season here at the Lulworth Estate!

Our retail roles are varied and interesting, no two days are the same and our retail staff play a huge part in welcoming and interacting with our many thousands of visitors, always ensuring outstanding customer service.

Our outlets include prime locations at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door: the Heritage Centre Gift Shop, The Dolls House, Lulworth Beach Shop, and Durdle Door Stores.

Previous experience in a busy shop or café, handling cash transactions and using an EPOS till system would be desirable, however full training will be given.

Applicants will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage customer expectations efficiently. They must be flexible, focused and self-motivated, effective at time management and organisation and enjoy working as part of a team.

These are seasonal roles available between March and September, offering between 8 and 24 hours per week on a rota basis, with the chance to gain more hours during our buzzing, busy periods. Some weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required.

Having your own transport and/or the ability to commute to our location is essential.

Holiday Park Receptionists

Are you friendly, empathetic and a great people person? Would you like to play a vital role in ensuring our owners and guests experience a great holiday in a stunning location?

We require charismatic, proactive receptionists to be the welcoming face and voice of our beautiful and busy holiday park overlooking the Durdle Door world heritage site.

Our park has a range of privately owned holiday homes, hire fleet and pitches for touring vans and tents and is popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.

This is a part time, seasonal position until the end of October 2026, offering between 12 and 16 hours per week on a rota basis. Our reception opening hours are Monday to Sunday between 9am and 9pm, therefore, evening and weekend working will be required.

Due to the remote location of our business, applicants must have a full UK driving licence and their own transport, or the ability to reliably commute.

Housekeepers

The Lulworth Estate requires seasonal Housekeepers to work at our beautiful holiday park at Durdle Door as well as our unique holiday cottages situated throughout the estate!

Our sites are popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.

Housekeeping can be hard work and also very changeable, therefore we are looking for motivated staff who are flexible and who appreciate a job well done, even on busy and tiring changeover days in high season.

These are seasonal contracts, beginning at the end of February and running until mid-September/start of October. Working hours will be between 12 and 24 hours per week, on a rota basis and will include at least one weekend day. The occasional early or late shift will be required and there will be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts during our busy periods.

Some previous experience of housekeeping to include cleaning and laundry is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants will need excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn, total reliability and a hard-working attitude.

Due to the remote location of our business, applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and their own transport or the ability to reliably commute.

Kitchen Assistants

Are you looking to improve your existing kitchen skills and take the next step in your career? Are you interested in becoming an essential part of the day-to-day operation of a busy bar/restaurant?

We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic individuals to join us as Kitchen Assistants at our busy Man O War Bar/Restaurant at Durdle Door Holiday Park.

This is a temporary, seasonal position from March to end of December and offers a fantastic opportunity to work within our hospitality team at this stunning World Heritage site.

This is a part time role, offering between 8 and 20 hours per week. You will be required to work at lunch and/or dinner times, the hours will be on a rota basis and will include weekends and Bank/Public Holidays. Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is desirable but not required.

Please bear in mind that all employees must be able to reliably commute to our remote location.

Salary will be £12.71 per hour with holiday pay paid on top at 12.07% of hours worked.
