Event Support Assistant

Located along the breath-taking Dorset coastline, the Lulworth Estate is a world-renowned tourism destination and home to the iconic landmarks of Lulworth Castle, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. The opportunity:

We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic and proactive Event Support Assistants to become part of our lovely team at Lulworth Castle for the upcoming season. You will be responsible for providing hands-on operational support for weddings and events, ensuring smooth guest arrival, safe and efficient car parking, venue exclusivity and effective event set-up and breakdown.

These are seasonal roles until the end of October 2026, offering variable hours on a rota basis in line with our event schedule. Working hours will cover school holidays, weekends, evenings and some late nights for weddings and special events.

Food Kiosk Supervisor

As Supervisor, you’ll lead a small, dynamic team, ensuring top-quality service and products in a high-traffic, seasonal environment. From forecasting stock for sunny weekends to ensuring smooth daily operations, you’ll play a key role in creating an outstanding visitor experience against the stunning backdrop of the Jurassic Coast.

This is a full time, seasonal position, from mid-March until the end of September. The working hours will be between 35 and 40 hours per week over 5 days and will cover weekdays and weekends on a rota basis.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be 18 or older.

Who we’re looking for:
-Experience in food service, hospitality, or retail supervision.
-Strong organisational and planning skills, able to forecast demand and manage stock effectively.
-Confident leading a small team and creating rotas.
-Knowledge of Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations.
-Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Holiday Park Receptionists

Are you friendly, empathetic and a great people person? Would you like to play a vital role in ensuring our owners and guests experience a great holiday in a stunning location?

We require charismatic, proactive receptionists to be the welcoming face and voice of our beautiful and busy holiday park overlooking the Durdle Door world heritage site.

Our park has a range of privately owned holiday homes, hire fleet and pitches for touring vans and tents and is popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.

This is a part time, seasonal position until the end of October 2026, offering between 12 and 16 hours per week on a rota basis. Our reception opening hours are Monday to Sunday between 9am and 9pm, therefore, evening and weekend working will be required.

Due to the remote location of our business, applicants must have a full UK driving licence and their own transport, or the ability to reliably commute.

Housekeepers

The Lulworth Estate requires seasonal Housekeepers to work at our beautiful holiday park at Durdle Door as well as our unique holiday cottages situated throughout the estate!

Our sites are popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.

Housekeeping can be hard work and also very changeable, therefore we are looking for motivated staff who are flexible and who appreciate a job well done, even on busy and tiring changeover days in high season.

These are seasonal contracts, beginning at the end of February and running until mid-September/start of October. Working hours will be between 12 and 24 hours per week, on a rota basis and will include at least one weekend day. The occasional early or late shift will be required and there will be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts during our busy periods.

Some previous experience of housekeeping to include cleaning and laundry is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants will need excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn, total reliability and a hard-working attitude.

Due to the remote location of our business, applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and their own transport or the ability to reliably commute.

Visitor Experience Assistant

The Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic, approachable and energetic Visitor Experience Assistants to become part of our lovely team at Lulworth Castle for the upcoming season.

You will be a key member of the team, supporting the delivery of excellent visitor and event experiences across the castle site, welcoming and engaging with our visitors to ensure they enjoy every aspect of their visit.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same and is perfectly suited to those who thrive in public-facing settings and are passionate about helping visitors get the most out of their time here, whilst contributing to the stewardship of our outstanding castle and park.

Responsibilities will include ticketing and visitor welcome, care and presentation of the site, stewarding private hire events and serving customers in the on site tearoom. Applicants must be reliable and able to work varied hours including weekends and evenings, must have strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure and have good physical strength and stamina.
