Experienced Painter and Decorator
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, versatile and skilled individual to join our expanding Buildings department!
Our estate encompasses residential and commercial property lets, retail outlets, a holiday park, Lulworth Castle, the world-renowned Durdle Door and a magnificent section of the Jurassic Coast. We offer a unique and varied working environment, with a rich blend of heritage, natural beauty and modern facilities.
As an experienced Painter and Decorator you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks whilst working in a dynamic and diverse environment. The role requires a high level of independence and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and be adaptable to different tasks and environments, including historic, modern, residential and commercial buildings.
This is a full time, permanent role working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, with a generous salary, subject to experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical experience and skills and will hold relevant qualifications.
Skills/Experience required:
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
– A recognised qualification – City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent.
– Demonstrable knowledge of all aspects of painting and decorating, both internal and external.
– Strong attention to detail, taking pride in maintaining high standards of work.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well on your own and also as part of a team.
– A full UK driving licence and the ability to reliably commute to our remote location.
– Ability and knowledge in other building trades is desirable but not essential.
