Operations Manager, Durdle Door Holiday Park

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of Durdle Door Holiday Park, ensuring the highest standards of site presentation, maintenance, health and safety and compliance are upheld.

Reporting to the Park General Manager, this leadership role will involve managing the maintenance, grounds and security teams, along with overseeing contractors, ensuring a smooth and efficient operational environment whilst maximising revenue streams and identifying areas of opportunity.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the teams to maintain the park’s infrastructure, buildings, facilities, grounds, and customer service standards. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the park remains a safe, welcoming, and high-quality destination for all visitors.

Applicants will have a proven track record at a multi-faceted holiday park or similar business. Essential qualities include outstanding people skills, attention to detail, a solid background in building maintenance and grounds maintenance operations including a strong knowledge of health and safety and compliance legislation and a sound understanding of all the processes involved in running a successful and happy holiday business.

The successful candidate will set a strong example and lead from the front whilst being willing to get stuck-in to helping across all team operations.

Food and Beverage Supervisor

As a Supervisor you will be responsible for all food ordering to ensure the business is up and running for the start of the season, all of the organisation of stock, ensuring the catering offer is on trend with business needs.

This is a full time, seasonal position, with an immediate start. The role will come to an end on 31st October 2025. The working hours will cover weekdays and weekends on a rota basis and the successful applicant will need to manage their time to ensure the food wagon is operational during our busiest operating times.

Due to the nature of our location, applicants must have their own transport.

Food and Beverage Assistants

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and would suit someone with a passion for hospitality, ideally with experience in a restaurant or catering or food preparation.

Working hours will be between 20 and 40 hours per week over 5 days between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Applicants must be able to work weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be 18 or older.

Customer Care Assistant

Are you friendly, empathetic and a great people person? Would you like to play a vital role in ensuring our owners and guests experience a great holiday in a stunning location?

We require charismatic, proactive Customer Care Assistants to be the welcoming face and voice of our beautiful and busy holiday park overlooking the Durdle Door world heritage site.

Our park has a range of privately owned holiday homes, hire fleet and pitches for touring vans and tents and is popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.

These positions are seasonal until 2nd January 2026. There are two positions available based on the following working hours:

Position 1 – Monday to Friday, 11:30am until 8:00pm.
Position 2 – 2 days per week (covering a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday), 8:00am until 4:30pm.

Part time Housekeepers

The Lulworth Estate requires part time Housekeepers to work at our beautiful holiday park at Durdle Door as well as our unique holiday cottages situated throughout the estate.

Our sites are popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside.

Housekeeping can be hard work and also very changeable so we are looking for motivated staff who are flexible and who appreciate a job well done, even on busy and tiring changeover days in high season.

This is a part time, seasonal contract, available with an immediate start. Working hours are a minimum of 12 hours/2 days per week, to be worked on a Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours will be offered when available and the occasional early shift or late shift will be required.

Some previous experience of housekeeping to include cleaning and laundry is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants will need excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn, total reliability and a hard-working attitude.

Due to the remote location of our business, applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and their own transport OR the ability to reliably commute.
