As an experienced Joiner you will have an eye for detail and take pride in maintaining high standards and producing quality work. You must also be prepared to work in several different environments, including the maintenance and restoration of historic, modern, residential and commercial buildings.
This is a full time, permanent role with a generous salary, subject to experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical experience and skills in traditional joinery techniques and will hold relevant qualifications.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our small, passionate team as a Castle and Events Steward. This is a varied and exciting role with a focus on events as well as being actively involved in the daily running of the castle as a tourist attraction.
Interacting with our visitors and clients, being the main point of contact on event days, providing the highest level of customer service and ensuring a memorable visit are all huge parts of this role.
All applicants must be confident and enthusiastic with excellent attention to detail, the ability to think on their feet and a passion for history and events. During our quieter season you will have the opportunity to get stuck into planning for future events, designing/managing museum displays and generating sales leads.

You will be required to work at lunch and/or dinner times, the hours will be on a rota basis and will include weekends and Bank/Public Holidays. Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is desirable but not required.

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable and experienced Landscapes, Grounds and Site Operative to join our dedicated team.
The Landscapes department undertakes a variety of work throughout the year with tasks falling into grounds maintenance, forestry/arboriculture, landscaping services and countryside management. The Lulworth Estate pushes for the highest standards in every area of work and all employees are expected to hold themselves to the same high standards.
This is a full time, permanent position, working outdoors in all weather conditions with physical effort on a daily basis. Two years’ experience of work in a similar setting is essential.
All applicants must be a self-starter and must be able to show initiative in every job they do. They must have the desire to maintain different areas of the estate and allow visitor experience to be the best it can be. Applicants will be required to work as a team and show a strong willingness to support and help other team members and also other departments across the wider estate.

MORELaundry Operative
Are you hardworking, committed and organised? Would you like the opportunity to work at a stunning World Heritage site?
We are currently seeking Laundry Operatives for an immediate start to join our busy Housekeeping department at Durdle Door Holiday Park.
One year of previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Candidates must show a willingness to learn and a positive, can do attitude.
This is a seasonal position which will come to an end on 2nd January 2025. Candidates will be able to commit to at least 16 hours per week (across a minimum of 2 days) working in our laundry room, with further hours available in our busy housekeeping department should this be of interest. Working hours are flexible between 6:00am and 10:00pm and working some weekend shifts will be required.
Due to the remote location of this position, a full UK Driving Licence or the ability to reliably commute to work is essential.

We are seeking a Laundry Supervisor for an immediate start within our busy housekeeping department at Durdle Door Holiday Park.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with a competitive salary based on previous experience. Applicants should have at least 1 year of previous experience in a laundry role as well as a hardworking, positive attitude.
As Laundry Supervisor, your main responsibilities will involve maintaining the day-to-day functioning of the laundry room, providing linen for holiday accommodation on the park itself, as well as 13 holiday cottages on the wider Lulworth Estate.
Working hours are between 6:00am and 10:00pm but exact shift patterns are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

Housekeepers required for our busy holiday park and our unique holiday cottages!
Our beautiful sites, including both the Durdle Door Holiday Park and our accommodation across the wider estate are immensely popular with a wide range of holiday makers and owners, all of whom share a love of this idyllic, unspoilt coastline and countryside. Our housekeepers play a vital role in the day to day operations on the estate.
Previous experience within a housekeeping role to include cleaning and laundry is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, total reliability and a willingness to learn.
This is a fixed term contract, ending on 31st October 2024.
Working hours are 2 days per week to include Monday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. Routine working hours will be between 09:45am and 06:00pm with flexibility to meet business needs. Additional hours will be offered when available.
Due to the nature of the role we are currently recruiting for those aged 18+ with a full driving licence only.
