Lulworth Cove & Visitor Centre

Lulworth Cove and Visitor Centre

Lulworth Cove was formed approximately 10,000 years ago by the power of a river and the sea. The Cove is a pebble beach and can be very sheltered due to its natural protection. Situated near the cove is the Boat Shed Café which serves light bites, snacks, ice cream, hot and cold drinks.

The Visitor Centre is open daily Monday to Sunday. Admission is free and the Centre contains exhibitions and displays about the cove and rocks. The exhibitions and displays are updated and reviewed regularly. Situated in the Visitor Centre is a gift shop stocking rocks, fossils and quality souvenirs.
