Our Approach
Lulworth is widely recognised as one of the best places to study coastal processes, geology, ecology and tourism in the UK and attracts thousands of students of all ages every year. The combination of striking, awe inspiring landscape, its accessibility and facilities make it a popular destination for schools and visitors alike.
We offer a range of sessions for both Primary and Secondary students that have been developed in line with the curriculum and with the benefit of local knowledge and years of experience in leading outdoor education. Students that avail of the education service will be taught through a variety of learning styles so that every child is engaged with the natural surroundings and can take away a memorable experience. This can range from visual presentations through to hands-on experiences with the geology of the area. As such, all sessions can be tailored to suit individual group requirements.
The education service encourages a high level of equality and diversity throughout the sessions we teach and thus we aim to be as inclusive as possible. However, the nature of the outdoor environment means that the site has many uneven paths and there is often a lot of walking required. If you have any students with mobility issues please contact us to discuss options as we have been able to provide quality experiences for disabled children in the majority of cases.
