Charity Open Gardens
Experience the beautiful wild and tended gardens of the privately-owned Bindon Mill in Wool, near Wareham, on Sunday 22nd July (in aid of Samaritans).
On the banks of the River Frome, this historic and beautiful house tells a story dating back for many hundreds of years. The gardens are carefully planted to provide colour throughout the seasons with swans, wildlife and its own hydro-electric system living peacefully side-by-side.
Explore the grounds and discover the monastic carp ponds, hosta bank and river walks. Then browse the plant and craft stalls and buy local produce and jams, before treating yourself to some light refreshments and a cream tea.
Open from 11am-4pm, the entrance fee is £5 (under 16s go free) and there is ample free parking. All proceeds go to the Samaritans.
