The Role:

We are looking for a reliable, practical, and hardworking Holiday Home Sales Team Member to join us as an After Sales Technician at Durdle Door Holiday Park. This role is responsible for preparing holiday homes to a high standard before sale, carrying out after sales repairs and maintenance, and supporting the wider sales team with holiday home siting and presentation.

The successful candidate will take pride in delivering excellent customer service by ensuring every holiday home is clean, safe, fully functional, and ready for its new owners.

Skills and Experience

Essential

– Practical maintenance or handyman experience.
– Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Full UK driving licence.
– Good communication and customer service skills.
– Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.

Desirable

– Experience working with caravans, holiday homes, or the leisure industry.
– Knowledge of plumbing & joinery
– Experience using pressure washing equipment.
– Experience with caravan siting or towing (training can be provided if required).

Personal Attributes

– Reliable and trustworthy.
– Well organised with good time management skills.
– Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
– Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting.
– Professional and courteous when dealing with customers.
– Committed to delivering high standards of workmanship.

This is a permanent, full time role, offering 40 hours per week over 5 days. Weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required (1 weekend day per week).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre-sale inspections, repairs, and preparation of holiday homes to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Complete after-sales maintenance, warranty work, and repairs promptly and professionally.
  • Diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance issues, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and cosmetic repairs where appropriate.
  • Jet wash and thoroughly clean holiday homes, decking, and surrounding areas to maintain a high standard of presentation.
  • Assist with the siting, positioning, levelling, and commissioning of holiday homes.
  • Fit and adjust fixtures and fittings as required, including steps, skirting, and decking where appropriate.
  • Conduct final quality checks before customer handover.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe.
  • Support the Sales Team with customer handovers when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and report any hazards or defects.
  • Assist with general park maintenance and other duties as required to support the business.
