We are looking for a highly motivated and personable Reception Supervisor to join our friendly front of house team at Durdle Door Holiday Park.

Located on the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic reception team while helping guests and owners enjoy one of England’s most iconic natural settings.

As Reception Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of reception services across both Durdle Door Holiday Park and Lulworth Cottage Holidays. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting your team, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

About You:

– Confident decision-maker with a data-led approach
– Detail-oriented with high standards
– Strong collaborator, able to work effectively across multiple teams
– Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences
– At least 1 year’s experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or tourism
– A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
– Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service across both business areas
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing reception team through ongoing support and mentorship
  • Create and manage team rotas in line with seasonal demand and business needs
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism, confidence, and empathy
  • Respond to guest reviews and feedback across platforms
  • Manage team absence procedures and ensure all documentation is completed accurately
  • Help drive sales of booking extras, enhancing the guest experience and increasing revenue
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager, Park Administrator, and General Manager on additional duties
  • Travel between sites on the Estate when required
  • Other duties as reasonably requested by senior management
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Background in hospitality, holiday parks, or hotel operations
  • Excellent analytical and commercial awareness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with booking systems, PMS, and digital marketing tools
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
