The Role:

Located along the breath-taking Jurassic coast and on the edge of the Isle of Purbeck, the Lulworth Estate is a world-renowned tourism destination and home to the iconic landmarks of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional visitor experience whilst preserving the natural beauty and sustainability of our landscapes and wider estate.

About You

As a seasonal Visitor Experience Lead, you will be proactive, warm, friendly, and most importantly, an energetic leader of our incredible seasonal team.

During the busy spring and summer months at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, you will help deliver the day-to-day operations of the visitor experience offer under the direction of the Visitor Experience Manager. You will ensure we can manage our busy sites and be responsible for delivering great service to visitors, promoting good communication and joined up service provision. You will lead a small number of seasonal assistants and work proactively alongside colleagues across the estate to deliver an engaging visitor experience.

You and your team will focus on visitor engagement, site presentation, safety and first aid, litter management and car parking, as well as being the main point of contact for all visitors. You will bring positivity, resilience, charisma, and confidence with a big smile to every shift.

The ideal candidate will be active, with a love for the outdoors and a genuine passion for visitor interactions and problem solving. Eager to make a real difference by helping visitors enjoy everything Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door has to offer.

This is a seasonal position, 5 days/37.5 hours per week on a rota basis (including weekends and Bank Holidays), beginning in April 2026 and running until October 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visitor engagement and welcome - delivering an awe-inspiring welcome and outstanding customer service from the very first hello.
  • Great teamwork and leadership - supervising and inspiring our team of seasonal visitor experience assistants.
  • Directing traffic in the car park at busy times to ensure our visitors have the best experience.
  • Offering tips, directions, and insider Lulworth Estate knowledge.
  • Litter management and site presentation - keeping the car park, and entrances safe, secure and sparkling.
  • Site safety and visitor management - monitoring high risk areas, responding to safety concerns, assisting with crowd control and supporting emergency response where needed.
  • Being an incredible brand ambassador at all times, even through wind and rain.
