The opportunity:

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Event Support Assistant to become part of our lovely team at Lulworth Castle for an exciting and busy season of weddings, Autumn events and Christmas experiences.
From setting up beautiful wedding spaces and festive displays, to helping run events, welcoming visitors and supporting our wider operations, this is a truly hands-on role where you will gain experience across every aspect of event delivery within a heritage setting.
This is a seasonal role until January 2027, offering 40 hours per week on a shift basis. We’re looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, hardworking and happy to roll up their sleeves. You will work across weekdays, weekends and evenings as part of our friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and dressing event spaces.
- Supporting weddings and special events.
- Working with clients and suppliers.
- Event stewarding and visitor engagement.
- Supporting Castle ticketing and tearoom operations.
- Setting up, packing down and maintaining presentation standards.
- Helping deliver an exceptional visitor experience.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
- Comfortable working late nights, including finishing at 1:00am or later.
- Reliable and able to follow procedures independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Desirable: previous events or hospitality experience, First Aid qualification.
