The Role:
Home to one of the most iconic stretches of England’s Jurassic Coast, the Lulworth Estate encompasses breathtaking natural landscapes, remarkable geology, built heritage, and a thriving rural community. From the dramatic limestone arch of Durdle Door to the grandeur of Lulworth Castle, Lulworth welcomes over one million visitors each year.
We have a wide range of accommodation available, from manor houses to static caravans and tent pitches. These can be booked both on our own website and through third-party channels such as AirBNB and VRBO.
We need a talented individual who can apply logic and reason to these booking channels to ensure we are always appearing at the right price and with the right availability to maximise our revenues.
This is an exciting role with opportunity to learn and develop and become a key member of the team, based at Durdle Door Holiday Park, an iconic and beautiful location.
If you enjoy a good spreadsheet, are analytical and love applied research this could be your perfect opportunity to work as part of a wider team to take our accommodation offering to the next level.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
– Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into actions.
– Proficiency in Excel and Word.
– A-Level or equivalent in maths.
Desirable:
– Experience of holiday accommodation/hotels and/or static caravan parks.
– Understanding of digital marketing.
– Previous experience in managing reservations.
– Understanding of yield management, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
– Experience with PMS, channel managers, and OTA extranets.
Personal Attributes:
– Commercially driven, with a proactive approach to identifying revenue opportunities.
– Detail-focused with excellent organisational skills.
– Comfortable making confident decisions based on data.
– Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams including marketing, operations, and reservations.
