The Opportunity
We’re seeking a passionate and creative Visitor Experience Manager to lead the development and delivery of engaging, memorable, and meaningful experiences across the Estate. This is a unique opportunity to shape how visitors connect with our landscapes, heritage, and stories.
You’ll collaborate across departments and with external partners to curate a dynamic programme that enhances visitor satisfaction, deepens understanding, and encourages repeat visits. You’ll also play a key role in strategic placemaking, transforming the visitor journey, and strengthening our brand through targeted marketing and communications.

• A creative and strategic thinker with a passion for visitor engagement, heritage, and nature
• Experienced in event programming, interpretation, or visitor experience management
• Skilled in marketing, communications, and brand development
• Experienced in placemaking and designing transformative visitor journeys
• A strong project manager with excellent stakeholder engagement skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver innovative visitor programmes, seasonal events, and immersive experiences.
- Champion storytelling and interpretation across all visitor touchpoints.
- Lead placemaking initiatives to improve wayfinding and emotional connection to place.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to co-create engaging content.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, including digital campaigns and brand storytelling.
- Ensure inclusivity, accessibility, and relevance for diverse visitor groups.
- Build partnerships with local organisations, artists, educators, and heritage bodies.
- Monitor visitor feedback and experience metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the strategic transformation of the visitor journey across digital, physical, and emotional touchpoints.
