Flora & Fauna
5000 years ago the wild trees were cleared by people from the chalk hills at Lulworth. Cows and sheep have grazed here ever since creating the short grass seen today. Where the hills are too step for fertiliser to be used, these man-made habitats are rich in wildlife. Lulworth is home to 32 different types of butterfly, 100 types of flower and plant and 25 types of bird.
