What's On Offer?

 

Our park opens each season from 1st March to 31st October.

We have a choice of pitches on which to site your new or pre-owned holiday home depending on size and location which vary in site fee charges per season from £4,250.00 to £5,750.00.

Each pitch usually comes with parking and a garden area and is connected to electric, mains gas, sewerage and water.

Our park is a holiday park and cannot be used as a main residence; however your friends and family are welcome to use it during the season.

We do allow subletting of your holiday home which can be carried out through our on park letting agency, please enquire at reception for rates and service charges.

 

Licence Period

All new holiday homes are sold with a 15 year agreement or pre-owned holiday homes with the unexpired period from the date of purchase.

If your holiday home is sub-let, the licence will be reduced for each year it is let.

Electricity & Gas

Both are metered and are invoiced annually each November, there is a meter rental charge applied too.

Details of charges can be provided on an historical basis, but going forward these are subject to change.

Rates & Water Rates

These will be invoiced annually in January in arrears.

Both are charges for Park water usage and commercial rates applied to each occupied pitch.

Holiday Home Insurance

Each holiday home owner is responsible for taking out their own caravan insurance.  We emphasise the need for adequate cover on a “new for old” basis, with third party liability and contents cover.  A copy of your insurance certificate forms part of your “agreement” with the park.

Shop, Bar & Restaurant

 On park we have a general store which is run by J&J Wilson Ltd and is open most days from 8am – 7pm (please check the latest opening times).

The store offers a wide range of essentials, including newspapers, bread, and milk and of course buckets and spades!

The “Blue Crab” bar is offers breakfast from 9am and delicious lunches and dinner, seasonal specials plus of course some evening entertainment.

The Boat Shed Cafe at Lulworth Cove, is a short five minute drive. Your car park permit is valid in this car park as well.

The “Weld Arms, just a 5 minute drive from the park  is a beautiful period thatched pub and well worth a visit.

TV Licence

Please refer to www.tvlicensing.co.uk.  If you have a static caravan with a TV and it is used at the same time a TV set is being used in your main licensed home you will need a separate licence to cover your second home.  If your caravan TV set is never used at the same time as your main home, you don’t need a separate licence.  You do however need to complete a declaration form available at www.tvlicensing.co.uk.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Durdle Door.  The area is especially good for walking, but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on park and waste must be cleaned up.  There are dog waste bins on park too.

Park Reception

 Our park reception is open most days of the season from 9am – 6pm however outside these hours our security team are on hand to help with anything that may arise.
