The Role:

Experienced Plumbing/Heating Engineer required for the stunning Lulworth Estate!

This privately owned estate encompasses residential and commercial property lets, retail outlets, a holiday park, a large farm, Lulworth Castle, the world-renowned Durdle Door and a magnificent section of the Jurassic Coast.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plumbing/Heating Engineer to join our highly skilled Buildings and Maintenance department.

The job will involve the maintenance and installation of oil-fired hot water and heating systems in a range of different properties as well as other plumbing work across the estate.

You will need to be capable of working independently and managing your own workload as well as being prepared to work in a number of different environments.

This is a full time, permanent role working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, with a generous salary, subject to experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical experience and will need to hold relevant qualifications.

A full UK driving licence and the ability to reliably commute to our location are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance as well as the servicing, repair and replacement of domestic central heating boilers and systems.
  • Repairing leaks and altering or extending plumbing infrastructure.
  • Operate all power tools, hand tools and machinery to the required level and standard.
  • Identify and report any defects to Estate property identified during the course of your work.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
  • A recognised qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of hot and cold water systems, as well as the installation and maintenance of heating systems.
  • Servicing of domestic boilers.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, taking pride in maintaining high standards of work.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well on your own and also as part of a team.
