Camping and Touring

Getting away from it all - camping and touring doesn't come more idyllic than this. With direct access to the South West Coast path and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, Durdle Door is brilliant for walkers and those who share a love of the coast and countryside.

Durdle Door has a variety of camping areas:

Abbeyfield

Entrance to this camping area is restricted by barrier access. All pitches are pre-allocated, on level grass offering access to 16 amp electric hook-ups. The Premium pitches also have water and grey waste hook-ups.

camping pods at Durdle DoorDurdle Door Camping Pod InteriorCamping PODs in Abbeyfield

Enjoy a new camping experience at Durdle Door. Our camping pods are made of timber and are rain and wind resistant, have a lockable door and each have a boot storage box. The pods sleep a maximum of four - either two single camping beds and a set of bunk beds or a double bed and two single beds. Each pod has an electric point, light and a heater making it cosy for cooler nights. Bring your own camping equipment minus the tent!  Ideal for walkers and cyclists. Dogs are welcome in allocated pods (usual tariff applies) but should not be left unattended.
